The Kyiv municipal administration has decided to build a pedestrian bridge across the Rusanivka canal in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv.
This is stated in a directive issued by the municipal administration, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
The bridge is to be built near the residential building located at 52-v Raskova Street.
The municipal administration has instructed its main department of capital construction to place the order for construction of the bridge.
The department is to grant the right to use the relevant land plot in accordance with the established procedures and select the designer and subcontractor for the project via tenders.
The period of construction of the bridge was not stated.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Planeta Mist construction company performed major repair work on the bridge across the Rusanivka canal opposite the Slavutych hotel during the period of 2006-2007. The Kyivavtodor municipal road corporation placed the order for the repair work.
The Rusanivka bridge is part of the Metro bridge. It has a length of 350 meters.
The bridge is intended for automobile and subway traffic.
