On June 14, 2007, the Urban Planning Council approved a XXI Century project for a business center in Petrivka.
XXI Century and the Solidarnist Company will be developing this business center in Petrivka together.
A concept for the project has already been prepared by CBRE Noble Gibbons, an international consultancy. The architectural elements of the plan were prepared by FORM, a Polish company. The project architect is Yuriy Babych, who has received a State award in architecture.
The business center will be build on a property that is 0.9 hectares in size, granted on a 10-year lease, to 2017, by Kyiv City Council and zoned for building an office complex with underground parking.
The office center will be located near the Petrivka Metro station on Moskovskiy Prospekt, a major artery connecting the right and left banks of Kyiv.
The overall area of the complex is 68,000 sq m, including 45,500 sq m of B+ class office space, 4,000 sq m of retail space, cafés and restaurants, and 518 parking slots.
Construction is expected to start in Q2 of 2008 and the opening is scheduled for Q4 of 2009.
XXI Century is fulfilling its strategy to develop quality business centers both in Kyiv and in the country’s regional centers. “This project makes it possible for us to satisfy growing demand for quality office space in the Petrivka district,” noted Georgiy Tsahareishvili, vice president for real estate development at XXI Century.
At this time, the lease for the land for the project has been signed and the City architecture and Construction Council has approved marketing, commercial, architectural and financial project concept.
